Release Management
To manage different releases within a project, MetaKraftwerk has a built-in release management, which is very similar to the version management in Git or SVN. It is also possible to map a concurrent development of the instance metadata, so that frequently occurring situations in a project, such as a hotfix in a previous release, can be represented. It is also possible to merge two versions of an instance from two releases. The following sections explain the various functions and components of Release Management:
