Data Integration Pattern
A data integration pattern is the combination of a data integration process (mappings, data structures, workflows, etc.) and other metadata (functional roles and instance properties). It serves as the basis for creating executable data integration and ETL processes. In case of a low code / ETL platform, the process is initially developed inside the target integration platform itself.

The metadata is then exported and imported into MetaKraftwerk. A process pattern is not executable, but contains placeholders in data structures and configuration properties, which are filled via instance metadata. From the process pattern and one instance MetaKraftwerk creates an executable process instance, as shown in the diagram. The directly deployable processes can then be imported into the target platform.
